Also known as Mighty Mouse, this girl is amazing. Paralyzed in her lower spine and back legs from a fall out of a tree, she radiates sweetness and acceptance and love of life. She adores attention and laps and cuddling and eating! She doesn't use her back legs but does get around well pulling with her front legs.

Look in my 6 yr old eyes and see down to my soul. You can read me like a book, a novel probably a Jane Austen novel. I'm one of her quieter Victorian characters looking for love and commitment but hesitant to give my heart away too quickly. At the social dances I would've been in a corner, self conscious about my stubby tail and stocky legs. But I know the right person will walk up to me and the rest will be a story book ending.

Our big, quiet girl knows only kind words and sweet temperament. Cilli isn't exactly an Energizer Bunny -she's more of a solar cell on a cloudy day. She loves to lounge and observe and is entitled to do just that.

This little girl is playful and loving and so cute. Her special need is that she will not use a litter box. She has also been known to run away from every outdoor home she has been to. She will need a very special home.

Mama mia do we ever have a lover boy here. In the finest of Latin traditions he is subtle and refined. His poetry is in his motions but I'm sure he would pen some verses if someone could just interpret his thoughts and put them on paper. He's a romantic poet in a cat suit. Choose your favorite Latin poet and see if Taziano doesn't compare. This sweet guy is FIV +.

Lena - Lena was rescued from behind the back of the dryer at the laundromat. She was totally feral when she arrived with us and would smile at you when she ran wildly by you. She is now one of the most loving young ladies in the cattery. She is like a 'mom' to the other cats who will put up with her caring affection. Lena is the best climber in the cattery and will jump up on your back to kiss you and lay around for a bit. She is a real sweetie.

Tess is a spunky girl who must have been a movie star with a playful side. She's the Madonna of the room - serious as all get out yet this girl just wants to have fun! She delights in chasing a stray bug and at the same time keeps an eye on the other cats in the room just in case her young, insightful wisdom is needed.

Triston – An instigator of FUN! When Triston walked into the room he immediately got the troops into motion. Just about every cat in the room was rounded up for games or were the target of hide and pounce. Not too much of a morning guy he’d probably enjoy a good espresso to get the day rolling. While slowly sipping the morning beverage, his mind would start whirring with ideas and targets for that day’s activities. Plan for some good play time with this guy!

KT is a sweet young girl who wants to find a loving home. She was brought to us when she was hit by a car and had her tail run over. She lost her tail, and has some urinary and fecal control problems. She loves to be held and petted and wants to play all the time. She needs a special home and devoted lap and heart.

Chleo-"Lolo" is an absolute delight. Elegant and loving, she would adore being an only cat in the household. She will grace the laps of your family and friends and will be the calm influence that has you smiling through your day.

Rosie - is cuddly & purry one moment, feisty and energetic the next, this spunky little cat needs an understanding home. She can be very sweet and then attack with no warning. She has had seizures in the past but hasn't had any for a few years. She is incontinent from a past injury (she was hit by a car). Although she tries hard to use the litter box most of the time, it doesn't always work. She also would not be good with kids.

Mary – There is much wonder in this world and Mary wonders at it all! That is what youngsters do. Mary is eager to see it all and seriously explore the opportunities around her. She seems to play with purpose and is quizzical about life’s little puzzles. If she could go off to school she’d pack up her little book bag with all kinds of good reading and eagerly head off to learn more.

Taz – What an amazing boy! Taz is a patient, generous, gentle soul that seems to envelop everyone with his calm energy. If ever there were a cat healer, he would be it. He would have been David Carradine’s wise teacher in the old tv series Kung Fu. A wonderful presence to be with. Taz is diabetic and easily awaits his twice-a-day shots. He receives them with grace and thanks and is very healthy.

Lilly - This old lady's beautiful blue eyes will make you fall in love with this shy little kitty.

Lily - Miss Lily coos like a dove with pleasure when you pet her, feed her and even when she has a bath. She loves the attention! She does need a lot of TLC as she is very overweight but is on a diet and slowly loosing.

Nellie - is a loving 18 year old cat would like a home without a lot of other animals and would love to be an only child. She is great with everyone she meets.

Mr Miller looks like a big puff ball but he is one big solid cat! If there was a Boy Scouts for cats he probably would have been in it. He's friendly, courteous, kind, brave, clean, and mostly reverent. (didn't say he was a stellar Boy Scout). You'll want to award this guy a few badges when you get him home. He is FIV+ so would need to be in a home with other FIV cats or be an only cat. He is not always good with kids.

Kiki – is the most adorable little scruffer who loves to be loved. He can’t help but make you smile with his sweet charm, cute face and unabashed, gentle prodding for pets and cuddles. He is an FIV kitty so needs to be the only cat or with other FIV cats in the house.

Leroy – A bit shy at first, Leroy warms up as he knows you and loves to give and receive affection. And Leroy loves to eat! But he’s one of those guys that can eat what he wants and not get fat. No Kitty Curves needed for this guy. James Beard would have loved him. He’s a marvelous old guy who would be a terrific companion.

Angus is as Angus does. Yup - he's a bit like Forrest Gump: kinda quiet, very honest, a sweet love extended to any who want it and watchful of what each moment brings - when it isn't nap time. Angus would've been the quiet kid in the back row of the classroom but ask him anything and he'd softly tell you the answer.

Kitty – Our Miss Kitty with the white stripe down her nose is genteel but not stuffy. She quietly accepts some petting and light conversation and is not demanding. You'd think she went to charm school. She is a sweet and delightful girl.

Choochie

This big boy with a squeak of a voice is the Clint Eastwood of cats – the tough boy one moment and heart-melting guy the next. He loves a sunny spot to nap in and is just too fun. Go ahead - make his day! Adopt this loving tough guy.

Tabitha

What a sweetie! Her little face gives her the look of a kitten. Her gentle purrs are almost non-stop. This little doll would be a great companion in a loving and gentle home.

Sylvia

She may look like she has a few wild hairs but she is a tranquil, laid back oldster who's already seen any wild days. She's ready to enjoy her retirement in a relaxing, cozy home with laps for napping on and a dinner bell that can wake her from a good, deep snooze.

Charmin is definitely a charming Maine Coon/Ragdoll girl who will turn her beautiful blue eyes on you till you are lured over to play or give her the attention she'd like. She has some fecal control problems but always uses the litter box to pee.

Magnam

He is a cute little dynamo full of fun and enthusiastic energy. He gets along well with the other cats but sure wishes they'd play with him more.

Oryan

He is a goofy cat that everyone loves. He is deaf and has neurological problems. He bobbs his head and purrs any time you look at him. He had been declawed on all 4 feet by his previous owner. He loves to play and can make even the grumpiest of cats love him. He has even been to a county fair with one of the 4H kids and won lots of ribbons.

Cougar

He is a big, bashful, quiet boy who, when he gets to know you, becomes the biggest love-bug who will eat up all the petting and attention you can give him. He is an ex-feral cat and will need a quiet home with no kids. He came to us after being hit by a car and had to have his hind leg pinned. He walks a little funny, but gets around just fine.

Hudson

Hudson loves to love everyone. He has a gentle spirit that watches kindly and lovingly over everyone. He is FiV+ but is doing great! He and his buddy Chevron came from another shelter to have a second chance at life. They are wonderful cats and deserve a loving forever home.
